Known as the croft on the cliffs, or more simply the sea cottage, Kedge Cottage has long been a favorite spot for many visitors - myself included.
A whimsical cottage, surrounded by picturesque green fields, followed by ancient sea cliffs and beyond that still, untold ocean waves.
Lovingly kept gardens wind about the grounds - trimmed with seashells and driftwood collected from the shores below.
There's nothing quite like sipping a steaming cup of tea, while the intoxicating scents of lavender, juniper and verbena - to name a few - are carried along the salty breeze, while the sounds of the sea echo up and around the rocky cliffs to start - or end - your day.

Our ode to the cottage begins with a vintage skeleton key, adorned with a trio of found seashells and a bit of vintage steel curb chain.
The key is held by hand-wired strands of alternating pale, seafoam blue lace Agate, freeform faceted Pyrite that shimmers like wet sand and hints of vintage faceted crystal that catch the light like water droplets.

The necklace measures 19-3/4" long including the lobster claw clasp. The key measures 2-7/8" across and the longest bit of chain fringe measures 3-3/4" long.

Please take care as the seashells can fracture if knocked around too harshly. See our FAQ section for more jewelry care info.
